New cup holder for Gabby

We put Gabby in her new car seat after we unpacked it last night to see how she would fit in it and how she would react. The fit for her looked good and it was interesting to see her checking out the car seat top to bottom. We decided to put her sippy cup in the cup holder on the end of the right arm rest to see what she would do. The cup sat low in the cup holder, so it was hard for her to grab enough of the cup to lift it out and hold it. After a minute or two though, she got a hold of the cup and lifted it up and took a drink. When she was done, she looked around deciding where she was going to put the cup. I thought she would just drop it on the floor in front of her and the car seat. Instead, she looked over at the cup-holder and tried to drop the cup in it. We both couldn't believe she tried to do that. Unfortunately, the cup wasn't upright when she let it go, so it bounced off the cup holder and fell to the floor. But. on the second try she got it in the cup holder all by herself. We cheered and clapped for her to let her know that was a good thing she did. It was really amazing to see what she figured out all on her own so quickly.
